As an extension of Ellenby tree farms dedication to providing Western Australia with the best trees in Australia, Ellenby Field Service has been set up to administer a service to trees that is without competition. From installation through to removal we have got it covered.
Drawing on 25 years of experience of growing trees and an increasing demand on this knowledge base, our skill level is constantly increasing, providing Western Australia with an exceptional service to install and maintain trees supplied by Ellenby tree farm.
We can also offer the same high level of success on projects for transplanting trees up to 10m tall, with over 50,000 trees successfully transplanted over 25 years. We can successfully transplant mature frangipani (up to 80 years old), palms (including 15m Date Palms), Dracaena and matures trees including the Weeping Mulberry .
If you are unsure or need confirmation that the tree you will be using is the right one, the Ellenby Field Service offers onsite consultation. We will come to your site and prepare a report which you can use to assist you in selecting the right species of tree. In addition we can also accommodate your requirements by designing your landscape to include all manner of greenscape.

Services Offered
Planting & Transplanting
The correct installation of a tree can be critical to future growth, this is why we plant each tree like it is still our own. Care is taken to maintain the integrity of the root ball to ensure that the tree flourishes, as it should.
Taking the knowledge of planting 20,000 trees a year with very high success, rates Ellenby Field Service can install your trees with the certain knowledge that they will flourish. By planting with our own blend of fertiliser and soil improver we are able to ensure that your tree will grow with as much vigour as it does in the nursery.
Costs are charged on a per unit basis:
- Minimum $110
- 35 or 45L container $45 plus GST per unit, 10% discount for 21 or more
- 75- 100L containers $70 plus GST per unit, 10% discount on 16 or more
- 150 -200L containers $100 plus GST per unit, 10% discount on 11 or more
- 300-400 L containers $250 plus GST per unit, 10% discount on 11 or more
- 1000L trees minimum $350 plus GST per unit depending on equipment and level of difficulty.
- Mature and transplant trees will need an onsite evaluation and quotation prior to installation.
- Night work and out of hours work is minimum $300 plus GST and 50 % loading on the unit basis.
Pest & Disease Management
Techniques learnt from 25 years of producing trees of the highest standards can now be applied to ensure your trees can be maintained pest and diseases free. With training in Victoria and a Western Australian chemical contractor’s license, Ellenby Field Service can safely maintain the excellent condition of your trees in a professional manner.
Pests
and disease are managed through canopy spraying and soil injection.
The high pressure spraying equipment used by Ellenby Field Service
is designed for trees of up to 10 metres. They can be sprayed
quickly and efficiently from the ground. By spraying from
underneath the tree the underside of the foliage is quickly covered
with highly atomised spray droplets. Apart from the speed of this
system, the amount of chemical or biological agent used is reduced
substantially because it is all on “target”. The soil
injection equipment is used to effectively apply chemicals to root
ball for systemic applications. This is an efficient method as
there is no spray drift and no chemical residue.
Tree Maintenance
The after care of a tree can mean the difference between value for money and a waste of money. Ellenby Field service can reduce the risk of under performing trees and ensure optimal growth. In addition, fertilising using the injection method is available to optimise the vigour of the trees. Experienced pruning services are also available to develop your investment into a work of art.
